Thor is being marketed with trailers being released on websites for example YouTube,  the official Marvel site and the official Thor movie site. They are also release teaser posters, photos  of characters and action scenes.

Nationwide the film is being released on the 8th of November 2013 and worldwide and the UK it is being released on the 30th of October 2013. In the UK it is being releaaed in Odeon cinema and CineWorld cinema.

the formats that it would be available in are 3D and 2D. When its is released od Dvd it would be blue ray optional and normal 2D, this includes movie sites like Netflix or love film.

The targt audience is mainly for 14-24 year olds yhis covers over 59% of the audience expected.

The film has already made $100 million back after the UK release date.

The technology used in the making of the film is a dangerous energy source that has the ability to change the fate of the universe.  This substance,  aether, is displayed as a red, liquid like substance that often ebbs and flows in a bulbous form. Its tactile surface tantalises the viewer with the promise of touch when it is introduced at the beginning of the film but is kept at a distance through its placement in mainly positive parallax space. This is a tendency that is maintained 8n the introduction of the characters and the action scene in which they are placed.  Like many contemporary stereoscopic action films. The beginning of the film has relatively conservative 3D effects and most of the action is placed in positive parallax. Alternatively this material soreads from left to right (or vuce versa) rather than towards or away from the audience.
