Thor - The dark world.

The film Thor is based on a Stan Lee comic it is under the production company 'Marvel Studios'. This film was directed by Alan Taylor, Produced by Kevin Feige and has a very well known cast which includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anothony Hopkins, Idris Elba and Kat Dennings just to name a few. Filming for Thor started in September 2012 and wrapped up in December 2012, however reshoots were made in july 2013 this was done to add extra scenes. In march it was announced that the film would be digitally re-mastered into a IMAX 3d.  The films visual effects were completed  by seven special effects studios including double Negative and Luma Pictures.
The total budget for the film was £150,000,000.

Thor was released in cinemas October the 30th 2013 internationally, The premiere in the uk however was on the 22nd of October in Leicester Square. The film was distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture.
The audience rating is 12A.
